How to Enter:

Contest begins February 27, 2017 and ends April 30, 2017.

  1. Write a blog post about A Wife’s Secret to Happiness and publish it on your blog during the designated contest period. Your post can be a book review, your reflections on a specific chapter or theme, DIY insight on how you used one of the bonus content worksheets, or any other creative idea applying the book content to your life.

Declare is an annual conference to equip women to be Jesus online. Our heart is to: 1. Bring together women who share a desire to use their God-given giftings to point to Jesus. 2. Dr. Jason Fikes is the Director of Abilene Christian University Press & Leafwood Publishers. He received his PhD in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and before joining ACU Press, he served as a minister for congregations in California and in Texas.  Jason and his wife Susan have two wonderful teenagers, Leah and Abbie—ages 17 and 13.

J.A. Marx, author and editor, resides in Texas near her children and grandkids. She’s into fitness and painting. Her most recent novel, “Family Lies, Deadly Ties” released in 2016. J.A. Marx is a Craftsman graduate of the Christian Writer’s Guild.

Stephanie Alton directs the agency’s blog network, BlogAbout, and is a writing/blogging coach, and also a publicity book agent. She has engaged with publishers, authors, podcasters, ministries, and creative businesses to be able to offer compelling and trendy material to the hundreds of bloggers who she works with to review and give away new books, movies, and merchandise. Stephanie has a good eye for what is working in the blogging world and has been able to help aspiring writers shape their writing and blogs into what an agent is looking for. Blythe was the publicity director for seven years at Thomas Nelson Publishers and marketing director for two years. She worked as the product development manager for New York Times bestselling authors John and Stasi Eldredge, and in 2005 Blythe started her agency. In early 2015 the agency launched their blogging network, BlogAbout, which reaches a million individuals through the 260 bloggers in the network and their followers. BlogAbout works with bloggers to review books, films, and merchandise.

Anita Lustrea is a broadcast professional with a career in radio spanning 31 years. She is a sought-after conference and retreat speaker and host of the podcast Anita Lustrea Faith Conversations. Anita is also an author with her most recent books including What Women Tell Me: Finding Freedom From the Secrets We Keep and Shades of Mercy, about her beloved Northern Maine.
